On Thursday the 19th of May we went to Christine’s in England. On our last morning in Ireland we woke up, got ready and went downstairs for a big breakfast. There were lots and lots of things to eat. We got to go around a kitchen thing picking out what we wanted for breakfast. It was all free and all very yummy. After our huge breakfast we went back upstairs and packed up all our things to go to England.
Once we had finished packing we decided to go on a hop-on hop-off bus and go touring around Belfast. It took about an hour and a half to get right around Belfast. I think I fell asleep during the tour.
After the tour we went back to the hotel to get the car and then we drove away to the airport.
When we got there, Dad dropped the hire car off. Then we went inside and had a little bit of food. Then we checked our bags in and went through all of the security.
We then had to wait a bit to get on the plane. When we got on we didn’t do very much because it was only a thirty five minute trip from Belfast to Newcastle, England. Everyone’s ears were blocked during the whole flight. When we got off the plane we went to get our bags. It took forever to get them from the baggage carousel.
When we finally got all of our bags we went to meet Christine. Everyone was really happy when we saw her. Then a taxi driver took us back to Christine’s house in the taxi. When we got to Christine’s house, Dad and I went down to the corner shop to get some diet Pepsi for Christine. When we got back tea was ready so we ate our tea. Then we went up stairs and found lots of things that Christine had got us. She got us both some books; some clothes and she left a soft toy on both of our beds. Then we just watched T.V. and read our books until bed time.
